2019 PMI-CIC BOD Call for Officer Nominations!





The PMI Central Iowa Chapter (PMI-CIC) is Iowa's preeminent authority on Project Management and the only organization in Central Iowa dedicated solely to the advancement of the profession. We are over 830 members strong and highly visible to the local PM professional community. Our Chapter is part of the PMI global organization and community with over 1 million project managers in over 80 countries holding a wide variety of certifications.

Get Involved

Run for elected office! Each Year the PMI-CIC elects new, volunteer Chapter Officers to represent our dynamic member community and manage the business of our thriving, non-profit organization. In order to ensure continuity of leadership, the PMI-CIC alternates the Vice President/voting roles that become available each year. For the upcoming year, the following influential roles are opening up for nomination:

  • President-Elect (3 year commitment – Year 1 as President-Elect, Year 2 as President, and Year 3 as Immediate Past President)
  • Vice President of Membership and Volunteerism (2 Year Term)
  • Vice President of Operations (2 Year Term)


** The position of President-Elect has one prerequisite that the others do not – the candidate for this senior leadership role must have served as a Vice President of the PMI-CIC Board in a prior year. **

We are most in need of a restructuring or update of our website to make it more user friendly for our staff. Currently, no one at our non-profit can gain access to the site to make changes. As well, the appearance and content is out of date. We'd love to be able to use the site to communicate better with our clients and families, as well as the community at large.
