About the speaker...

Kate Langdon is an accomplished Program Manager with a diverse background in both the military and the corporate world. Currently serving as the Program Manager for IT & Digital at Pella Corporation, Kate brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role.

Kate's journey to success began in the military, where she served with distinction in the US Army Reserves as a Civil Affairs Specialist. Her commitment to excellence and dedication to service earned her respect and recognition from her peers, and she later transitioned to the US Navy as an Electronics Technician, specializing in repairing radar equipment.

After her service, Kate embarked on a career in the private sector, initially as an R&D Technician for Americana Superconductor, where she honed her technical skills and passion for innovation. Her pursuit of excellence led her to Maryland, where she contributed her talents as a defense contractor for BAE Systems, making a significant impact in the defense industry.

Always seeking new challenges and opportunities for growth, Kate made a remarkable transition into management, assuming the role of Production Manager for a reputable wire & cable harness company. Her leadership skills and ability to drive results were instrumental in the company's continued success.

Throughout her career, Kate Langdon has been recognized for her exceptional contributions to various projects and initiatives. She was awarded the prestigious Corporate Volunteer of the Year by Biz Times, acknowledging her commitment to making a positive impact on the community. Additionally, she was named Project Manager of the Year by Welch Allen, a testament to her outstanding project management abilities and dedication to achieving results.
