Emotional Intelligence in an AI World

Power Skills

Start the year with PMI CIC as we explore Emotional Intelligence in an AI World on January 21st!

People are a complex blend of emotion, experience, logic, and reason. While artificial intelligence excels at data analysis and logical processing, it cannot replace the human ability to understand emotions, relationships, and context. As Plato observed more than 2,000 years ago, all learning has an emotional base, and that truth is even more relevant in today’s AI-powered environment.

This session explores the role of emotional intelligence in an AI world and why skills such as self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, motivation, and social awareness are essential for success. Participants will examine how AI impacts people, teams, and organizations, and how emotionally intelligent leadership can help navigate change responsibly.

Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how to balance AI capabilities with human-centered decision-making, and how to guide organizations to adopt AI in ways that drive business value while supporting the people affected by technological change.
